Job Description
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd is actively seeking a qualified Heat Treatment Manager to lead and improve our heat treatment operations in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of furnace operations, emergency response protocols, and various heat treatment processes. A Bachelor of Engineering in Metallurgy is required, along with 4 to 8 years of relevant experience.
Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting metallurgical failure analysis, and optimizing capacity utilization while minimizing downtime. Candidates must be familiar with Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI 9), and international standards. A deep understanding of transmission and axle gears is also essential.
