Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Stores Assistant to support inventory control and maintain optimal stock levels. The role ensures correct storage, adherence to HACCP procedures, accurate documentation, and overall upkeep of storeroom operations.
- Assist with stock replenishment, inventory reviews, and identification of slow-moving or spoiled items.
- Ensure proper storage conditions, check expiry dates, and dispose of expired goods.
- Control access to storerooms and prevent loss or pilferage; follow requisition and delivery procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of goods received, issued, rejected, and stock levels.
- Coordinate with departments to support efficient material supply and report issues to management.
