Job Description
We are seeking a experienced Boring Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain horizontal and vertical boring machines to produce precise bores and finished surfaces. Key duties include monitoring tooling, inspecting parts for dimensional accuracy, adjusting machine settings, reading blueprints, and using micrometers and calipers. The role also requires maintaining production records, performing routine maintenance, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and promptly reporting defects. The ideal candidate has prior machining experience, strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, basic math skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Shift flexibility is preferred.
