Job Description

The Education Counsellor is directly responsible for generating business revenue for Anilee Academy through student counselling, lead conversion, proactive follow-ups, and self-driven enrolment initiatives. This role carries clear ownership of admissions, revenue targets, and business outcomes.

Core Responsibilities

1. Business & Revenue Generation

• Generate admissions and achieve assigned monthly revenue targets
• Take complete ownership of lead-to-admission closure
• Convert enquiries into paid admissions through effective counselling
• Drive revenue growth through upselling, batch optimisation, and repeat enrolments
• Treat every interaction as a business opportunity

2. Lead Handling & Self-Generation

• Handle institutional leads (walk-ins, calls, online enquiries) with a closure mindset
• Actively generate self-leads through referrals, follow-ups, student networks, and outreach
• Re-engage cold or dropped leads to recover lost business
• Ensure zero lead negligence or delay

3. Follow-up & Closure Discipline

• Maintain strict follow-up ownership until final closure (admission or rejection)
• Reduce decision cycle time through urgency-based counselling
• Handle objections related to fees, value, schedule, and outcomes
• Ensure timely fee collection and documentation completion

4. Reporting, Tracking & Accountability

• Update CRM / lead tracker daily and accurately
• Track personal pipeline, revenue forecast, and closure ratio
• Submit daily and monthly business performance reports
• Be accountable for missed targets with action plans

5. Coordination for Business Execution

• Coordinate with telesales, admin, and teaching teams to ensure smooth onboarding
• Align counselling commitments with academy offerings and batch availability
• Ensure admitted students start classes without drop-offs

Key Performance Indicators

• Monthly revenue generated
• Number of paid admissions closed
• Self-generated leads and referral conversions
• Lead-to-admission conversion rate
• Drop-off rate after counselling
