Job Description
Job Title: CNC Cylindrical Grinding Machine Setter
Job Summary:
The CNC Cylindrical Grinding Machine Setter is responsible for setting up and preparing cylindrical grinding machines to produce precision components as per engineering drawings. The role ensures accurate machining, adherence to quality standards, and smooth production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up CNC cylindrical grinding machines for production runs
- Select, mount, and align grinding wheels, workpieces, and fixtures
- Set machine parameters, work offsets, and grinding programs
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Monitor production and ensure dimensional compliance
- Coordinate with CNC operators and production team
- Follow safety procedures and quality standards
Skills & Qualifications:
- 10th/ 12th/ITI/ Diploma / BE or any degree
- Knowledge of CNC cylindrical grinding machines
- Ability to read drawings, dimensions,
- Understanding of grinding wheels, feeds, speeds, and machining processes
Experience:
- 1–8 years of experience in CNC Cylindrical Grinding Machine
Working Conditions:
- Shop-floor environment
- Rotational shifts may be required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹22,00.00 – ₹25,00.00 per month
