Job Description
We seek a seasoned Akamai Subject Matter Expert to design, implement, and optimize Akamai CDN and security solutions. The role involves configuring EdgeWorkers, Property Manager, and Kona Site Defender; defining caching strategies and load balancing; performance tuning; troubleshooting client issues; and collaborating with engineering and customer teams to deliver best-practice designs and monitor SLAs.
- Minimum 5 years in CDN/security operations
- Strong knowledge of HTTP, TLS, and DNS
- Hands-on experience with Akamai products and APIs
- Scripting proficiency in Python or Node.js
- Excellent communication skills; Akamai certifications preferred
