Job Description
Virtusa is actively searching for a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to spearhead our development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Ruby and a strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles. Expertise in Rails is essential, including proficiency in ActiveRecord, polymorphism, Single Table Inheritance (STI), API development, and the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture.
Your key responsibilities will include crafting clean, modular code following DRY principles, designing scalable PostgreSQL databases, and enhancing performance through effective caching strategies. Experience with Docker and AWS, as well as skills in performance optimization, will be considered advantageous.
