Job Description
We are seeking an Oracle Database Administrator with 4–5 years of experience to install, upgrade, and maintain Oracle servers and tools. Key responsibilities include storage planning; creating tablespaces and schema objects; RMAN backups; Data Guard, RAC, and ASM administration; Data Pump operations; performance tuning; Grid/CRS management; and timely security patching. The role also covers managing access rights, monitoring OS services and database processes, tracking tablespace usage, buffer cache and index health, performing migrations and version upgrades, automating cron jobs, and collaborating with application and offshore teams. Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager, ITIL practices, and firewall/SQL hardening is required to ensure stable, secure database operations.
