Job Description
The Special Education Placement Coordinator will oversee and coordinate student placements, serve as a primary liaison with families and schools, evaluate student needs, and ensure adherence to special education regulations and district policies.
- Manage IEP and 504 placement processes, maintain accurate placement records, and monitor student progress.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to schedule assessments, develop placement recommendations, and support implementation.
- Provide guidance on compliance with disability law and district procedures.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in special education or a related field, demonstrated experience with IEP processes, strong organizational and communication skills, and working knowledge of special education law.
