Job Description
Tista Creations seeks an experienced Fabric Merchandiser to oversee sourcing, development, and execution of woven and knitted fabrics for domestic retail, branded, and export channels. The role requires coordination with mills, traders, and processors for sampling and production; management of fabric costing, negotiations, and final pricing; and oversight of lab-dips, strike-offs, approvals, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure quality standards (shrinkage, colorfastness, testing).
- Collaborate with design, sampling, and production teams.
- Maintain fabric inventory, swatch libraries, and documentation.
- Monitor market trends and introduce new fabric qualities.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent. Work Location: In person.
